PkStormx 23 Posted July 5, 2012 yes i am aware i am awful at this game, and i should go die in a hole because i shot another player, what ever...heres my fail video.... if your wondering....its my first time using the DMR, and using a sniper rifle so i was not really aware of how it worked.also my friend Wood377 committed suicide by accident...leave a comment and feedback please :P
Superior 9 Posted July 5, 2012 It was horrible. Bad sniper is very bad. And I despise people like you. Sure go ahead, have fun. But what's the point of perma-killing somebody just like that? It would be justified if you'd actually go and pick the loot up but considering the fact you're camping a roof-top in Chernogorsk, my guesses are you just server-hopped with no intention to take their loot.Is the murder increase in your stats really of that value? Lol, fuck off.Oh yeah. Glad you died too. Was fun to watch at least.

Superior 9 Posted July 5, 2012 Congratulations. You got your gear back. I hope you enjoy the game by sitting on the roof-top in Chernogorsk sniping off people with nothing but their flashlights. Rustled my jimmies for a second. But hey...NO TEARS, ONLY DREAMS NOW.dat contradiction. wanted to go out in style but says he got his gear back and didn't lose a thing.mfw
John (DayZ) 62 Posted July 5, 2012 If you plan on murdering more people, let me offer you a few tips:1) This is less of a tip and more of a statement - I'm actually amazed that you managed to get that kind of gear together with as little actual skill as you seem to have. I mean, no offense, you yourself acknowledged how terrible you are - so it's a bit awe inspiring that you stumbled upon an Alice pack and a DMR.2) This one's an actual tip - lead your target. If you have to take a shot on a moving object - which, for the record, is incredibly inadvisable (he has to stop eventually; that's when you kill him) - fire in front of him. There's no real way to know exactly where to shoot; you just have to practice and get a feel for it. That's what the single player Armory is for.3) Awareness/reconnaissance. Keep your eyes on your surroundings at all times; from what I could tell, it wasn't another sniper that killed you. It was somebody that had gotten onto the room from another ladder and shot you with what sounded like a revolver (I could be completely wrong about that, though). Your eyes shouldn't lock on one spot and you shouldn't focus on anything that you aren't about to murder. Scan, scan, scan. You also need to watch your "prey" for a bit longer before taking a shot - you should know if he's alone or not, where he's going, what he's doing, etc.4) Don't reload like that. You're not reloading like you do in, say, Max Payne or Call of Duty; the magazines track a specific amount of bullets, so reloading a DMR mag with 17 rounds in it only exchanges that mag for another mag with 20 in it. It'll be a very nasty shock when you think you have another full mag to fall back on and you wind up with a mag that actually only has two rounds in it.5) Don't hunt for players in the middle of the biggest DM-fest town in the game. Pick a spot from a distance - this should be especially easy since the DMR is effective at around eight hundred meters - and lay on your belly in the brush, preferably at a tree line.Anyway, good hunting, you gigantic noob, you.
