bigbadabing 8 Posted April 6, 2019 Looking for settings to get the most of my Dayz server Processor E3-1270v6 8 CPU @ 3.8Ghz 2x240 SSD Memory 32768MB network connection 10GbE with 5000GB Bandwidth per/month OS windows server 2016 We are plague by lag walls when driving back to base from all directions around 800 meters out. I have try ramdisk and put the whole server game files on it to see if that helps no improvement. So I thought maybe if I could get the game to use more bandwidth it might take care of that problem but I dont know how to do so. Rcon login monitor Server load : fps 3853 memory used 1416 out 34-70 kbps in 1-5kbps. Only using about 14% processor in task manager. I am running standard dayz server with bec no mods 99 player count though we will probably never come anywhere near that many on at once. I have set server to run high priority and done the power settings and that is about it. I don't know if you can change these settings in standalone but it was used on arma 2 dayz servers. MinBandwidth,MaxBandwidth, MaxSizeGuaranteed, maxPacketSize, if they would work in Dayzserver cfg or launch options of if they go somewhere else. Also would like to know where you can set server view distance, server fps, and make server use more memory if you can do this in the dayzserver cfg, startbat or if these settings are in a pbo file somewhere. Really want to defeat the lag walls over all it runs decent but I think it could run even better and use more memory and bandwidth processor with the right help of someone that knows what they are doing instead of this Bambi that just knows the bare basics. Looking to providing the best experience possible with my hardware so any help would be greatly appreciated.
-_- Mr.Scary 0 Posted April 13, 2019 (edited) Could it be in dayzsetting.xml the core and thread count of the cpu. IDK just a thought <jobsystem globalqueue="4096" threadqueue="1024"> <pc maxcores="2" reservedcores="1" /> <ps4 threadcount="4" /> <xb1 threadcount="4" /> </jobsystem> <jobsystem globalqueue="4096" threadqueue="1024"> <pc maxcores="2" reservedcores="1" /> <ps4 threadcount="4" /> <xb1 threadcount="4" /> </jobsystem> Edited April 13, 2019 by -_- Mr.Scary
