FacetrackNoIR?

Recommended Posts

Anyone had any luck getting FaceTrackNoIR to work with Arma2/DayZ?

I have it installed and it tracks my webcam image, but when I open the controller options in Arma I get TrackIR and Freetrack. Supposedly I need to do freetrack so I enable it and click customize to setup the axis's and I get this:

I was hoping maybe someone knew what I was doing wrong? I copied the freetrackclient.dll to the arma2 folder, the expansion folder, the beta folder, the dll folder and every folder I could find just to see where it was supposed to go since googling this problem gets basically nothing.

While I'm late to the party on this one, Arma 2 only uses the Freetrack/TrackIR protocol, which maps your head movement via infrared LEDs. There are many videos and tutorials out there about making your own 3-point IR ballcaps.
