Night time visibility & the moon

Hi all, looove this game!

However, as much as I love the creepy night play it can be near impossible to see your hand in front if your face. One thing I've noticed though is there appears to be no moon? Perhaps a moon could be added to give a bit of light but maybe it could also go through its phases (according to the relevant timezone) to give varying degrees of light ie: full moon, half moon, etc?

There is a moon in game, I've played the game in moonlight before with the moon overhead.

You know what's strange, is that it's not the same on all servers.

I've been on one server where it's pitch black and all I can see are stars. I hop onto another server (same time zone) and I can see a faint light in the sky and 20' around me.

Are there server vars that people are setting in the config? I think it just needs to be consistent.

moon light as a default woud be great, it would maybe motivates people to play on servers when it's nightime.

I think most servers don't set the date when they make servers. So we're getting the default "moonless night in winter," 9 times out of 10.

The FR2 Server seems to go after he current date and since it does that there is currently no moon.

Hopefully in time, every server will go after the date and timezone the server is placed in.

It all depends on the servers location, as the game server runs off the real time and date which this then effects the phases of the moon and at what time the moon will rise if there even is a moon that night.
