Footsteps super loud

Is it me or are the footstep super loud now for your character? Think they need to be dialed back a bit.

Yeah they can get annoying, I don't like it when I'm playing Jogging simulator 2018 to get across the map (nor does my wife whens she is present while I'm playing lol) But I do like it when I'm listening for other players. For me sounds from other players have helped me more times than not, knowing they are in the vicinity with footsteps or doors opening/closing has been a huge advantage for me. Gives you a choice to flight or fight which can make or break your experience sometimes lol.

Seems like they’ve been rather loud for a while. I’ll usually take my shoes off completely and the. because turn the sound up. I like hearing the ambient noises because it feels more immersive.
