dansos12@gmail.com 0 Posted July 4, 2012 Okay, so me and 2 of my friends played for a while. We stumbled upon something quite interesting. 2 of us had lee enfields, the other guy had AKM. But let's get to the point. We wanted to raid Zelenogorsk to find some painkillers as we were running out. Pretty usual stuff. We sneaked through the town, when my friend noticed a survivor. We went for a 2-1 set up. 2 of us stayed behind a wrecked car ads waiting for the guy to pop his head, while our third buddy went to lure him out. The guy pops his head, I headshot him with the lee enfield, he goes down. Pretty usual stuff, that's what you would expect. Well, guess what. 5 minutes later the same guy with his gear (he had a ghillie suit and a 50 cal) appears across the road again. How do I know if it was him? We played on a server with name tags, his name was OrsoN. That made us doubt that, but hey, maybe it was a glitch. We decide to split up, I went around into the woods while my 2 buddies went into the town. We saw that this guy has 2 more buddies with him, all in ghillie suits and all seemed to have 50 cals. We managed to kill one of them (RaviN) TWICE. TWICE!!! Again, the second time he went down he had all his stuff back, and our debug monitors were not registering murders or bandit kills (while server feed was saying RaviN was killed by blabla (friendly fire)). One of our buddies died due to all the zombies attracted to us, so it was just me (up in the mountains using binocs to let my buddy know where they are at) and my buddy in town trying to get rid of the baddies and loot the bodies (we were not going to let ghillie suits and 50 cals go past us). Needless to say, those guys were horrible shots, otherwise we would be dead by that time. With the coordination my buddy managed to sneak upon one of them and kill him (his name was KrakeN). And guess what? Few minutes later I can see him run along his buddies in town. They got back on my buddy and killed him, I got away as I was in the woods away from town. By this time we realised they were either cheating or they were admins abusing power. It's pretty sad that some people have to get an additional advantage to survive, but you can't do anything about it. What do you think about what happened? Have you ever stumbled upon something like this? Explanation would be greatly appreciated, I'm very confused.tl;dr- all of this happened in Zelenogorsk on a Seattle 48 server- 3 players with ghillie suits and 50 cals were killed by us repeatedly on a server with name tags and were magically 'resurrected'- when we one of us died, it said 'blablabla died'; when they died it said 'blablabla was killed by blabla (friendly fire)' and soon afterwards they were seen again with the same gear in the same town- the names of the baddies were 'KrakeN' 'RaviN' 'OrsoN'.Watch out if you're playing on Seattle 48, I would assume they still are in Zelenogorsk. I assume they are either admins or cheaters.
