Range on bandit-heartbeat?

Hello!

Been playing for lika a month now and feel like a need to have some objective other than survive.

So, im thinking to go on a bandit hunt.

I have a sniper rifle and wonder if the heartbeat function have a range of some sort?

will it work trough a scope or is it limited?

I have done some experimentations myself but none of my "preys" had a heartbeat, so i didnt shoot. And i dont want to shoot a harmless survivor just to check.

Any thoughts?

It does have a range, but I'm unsure of it. It may be something like 10-20m, but I'm sure the beat dropps off before 100m. Get a friend to run there with light gear and check on people.

i think the range should be increased...by the time you're there it is too late

Thats ashame it has range, would be much easier to only kill bandits :(.
