Base breaching mechanic idea

Base building

I was building a shelter from the storm in the wilderness. And I was really impressed with the way how base building mechanic works. You can plan the layout with fence/watchtower kits, you can build walls with wood and steel or just leave basic log frame to have windows. You can make a gate with a wire and the combo lock. And you can cover all with camo netting and add barb wire to external fences. You can litter your base with barrels, sea chests and tents. You can add generator, extension cords and construction lights. It's just awesome.

It takes a lot of time and resources to build a base (as it should). But… It's so easy to breach the base by deconstructing the fence. I know that balancing will come and I have an idea about base breaching mechanic. It should be possible to breach the base only with an axe (or other tools like saw, hammer...) or the chainsaw (which should be super rare to find).

Breaching with the axe

Breaching with axe should take a long time to do it. If fence has attached barb wire then it should be impossible to hack through before you bleed out. Also the banging noise should attract infected. A lot of them. You should be constantly annoyed with incoming infected even in the remote places where usually there is none.

Breaching with the chainsaw

Chainsaw should go quicker through the fences but the noise should attract insane amount of infected. That way breaching would require player team work. One should do the breaching and other(s) should protect him from the infected. It should be a battle.

tl;dr

It should be almost impossible for random fresh spawn or lone wolf to breach. Mind you, I'm a lone wolf, nature loving survivalist.

Both ways should be really hard. Breaching should be a deadly business even with no players to defend the base. What's your opinion?
