Dayz not loading custom missions

So I have a private server and I am attempting to load the CustomMission : Mission Server class from init.c but even though I can launch the server I am unable to get it to recognize the player classes that were created. I am attempting to set up a server which spawns one of several different classes and also set a custom spawn point. Any thoughts why I can't get it to set the custom spawn or even load the custom mission from init.c?
