Dayz Standalone Server Hardware Requirements

Recommended Posts

Please can someone outline what specs would be ample to run a dedicated dayz server, I have seen some 'minimum specs' posted by a dev previously but they seem low. Im wanting a solid performing server for 1, 100 player server, with the option to maybe have 2 servers in the future.

ANY comments/help are appreciated.

None... the servers crash constantly no matter if your running it on a NASA super computer. It's ridiculous.

Do you own your own server? if so what specs are you running?

I'm running a server in VM. With 2x Xeon core and 8GB RAM Win 10 it was allmost running good with up to 30 Players.

Whith multiple players joinig simultaneous CPU get to 100% and game bit laggy.

So we upgraded to 4 Core and 16 GB .. running smooth, except driving but that's DayZ ;)

You want 1100 Players? wow

I think what he meant is that, he wants a single server capable of 100 players, and maybe two servers in the future.

I'm also interested in the experiences of people, hosting themselves.
