Business was so, I came on the server and before I played on it 2 days and everything was normal. Today I came and UAZ to the friend when I went was put forward on transport showed the message of "Ping to high" and threw out 90 % of the server, except administrators (the team plays), I came and me killed in UAZ (bones broke and died), after I wanted bysry to reach there. Having appeared in Kamenka I reached and I was banned by the administrator and didn't specify the reason when I came, the administrator ignored me and banned again. For what? This neadekvatstvo and isn't correct. It turns out for equipment they are ready to ban all?

I ask to understand you it and to punish them because there 5 more people died during the same time, as I.

I am the owner / administrator of this server. I am actually away on vacation at the moment.

It was reported to me by a few players that there was a number of hackers on the server yesterday and at one point, one (or more) were able to give themselves the ability to lower the ping limit so that everyone would be kicked from the server.

This has been an ongoing problem with hackers trying to teleport vehicles and all campsite loot on the servers so they can move the loot to other servers without any interference from other players.

I'm interested to know how you were able to get back on the server if you had been banned?? (Please explain to the DayZ devs and admins how you were able to sign on over and over (5 times!!) with a different GUID each time!?)

P.S. - Please do not come onto the forums and try to make false accusations against me saying I am a crooked admin. It will get you no where. Anyone that knows me and my reputation for hosting servers knows I have ZERO tolerance for hackers and cheaters.

I am not some foolish kid who just wants to abuse administrative powers. Look at my user profile. I am older than MOST people that game and have no time for shenanigans. If I want that, I can play with my own kids.

protip: move your profile folder outside of the A2 directory. A script kiddie can run scripts to download any file in the A2 directory (it is designed this way).

Moving your profile folder outside of the arma 2 directory significantly improves your server security. For example, the rcon password and server password are stored in your profile directory. There is also a file that determines the ping limit in there ;)

Think of it as an FTP server where your admin password is stored on a text file in the public directory.

Thank you for the tip! It is greatly appreciated. What really needs to happen is for the DayZ dev team to better equip server operators and admins so they know exactly where to look and what to look for to fend off hackers instead of basically throwing us to the sharks.

It seems that anytime a hacker gets banned, they immediately come running to the forums and try their best to make it look like the admins are the ones in the wrong if not for the soul purpose of shining them on even after they have been extricated from the server.

My other option would be to simply shut down the server until next week when I return from my vacation.

I was the one who first reported it, he was in a group of about four people who were teleporting and placing all of the vehicles on the map off of the region.

They teleported in front of us, killed a few of us.. we ended up killing a few in the process.

They then got into our vehicles and teleported off somewhere.

Previously a group of hackers had been banned due to doing the same thing, and the vehicles were located in the same spot on the edge of the border when we went there later.

Most of them are actually still there and completely empty if screenshot proof would help, but no, none of us we recording the 'split second it happened'

It was blatant, and you were one of the people involved. Deny it all you want but the rest of your buddies didn't show up here and complain after they were blatantly doing things like that.

Names were taken from death and kill reports, as well as those who didn't die and alt+f4'd to lose connection.

There were four others with me who I'm sure would be happy to post about it, especially those who died.

Is there a video of you doing it to give 100% proof? Nope, but there's common sense I believe in determining these things and you're the first out of a dozen obvious cheaters who has posted here.

Pretty much sums it up. Sorry, but having 100+ hours of work ruined by people isn't cool, especially when they're just doing it to grief.

Maybe you were just 'randomly' involved with this group of people or were 'randomly' off the map that far out of coincidence, who knows.

Either way, sorry but it's fair in my book.

Oh and I would like to point out that those people we banned kept coming back with spoofed ID's and had to be banned about a dozen more times, then by IP.

I'm still laughing about this. You were in such a hurry to rush over to the DayZ forums and try to give the admin a bad name that you incriminated yourself for spoofing GUIDs!
