Clarification of the rules

Dear developers, such a question. Will it be considered violations of the game rules if I independently set the graphics settings in the game files. For example, reduced the distance of drawing shadows. And is it possible to get a ban for it (including the VAC ban)? Sorry for my english.

I think until a dev answers you could disable shadows etc in game settings if you need the fps, just to be safe
