Weapon magazine issue

I read the known issues section and was not clear if this was addressed?

I am having an issue where I am in game and can see a magazine in my assault rifle but team-mates tell me there is no magazine loaded.  My HUD says there are zero bullets but I can not reload.  I go into inventory screen and it shows no magazine in the gun.  I am not able to reload the gun either by pressing Y or while in inventory combining  a new magazine to the gun.  Is this being addressed and is there a workaround while we wait for this bug fix?

Also sometimes I am firing blanks which think is a know issue even when my HUD says I have ammo in the gun.
