They are roaming in small groups in cities, towns, villages, military camps, etc. Rare to find them in open areas like fields or forests. They're small amounts as of right now, but if you go into a town, and notice there are no zombies to be seen, I would stay alert in case a player may have killed them all. They can be in houses randomly too, so be careful opening certain rooms.

Zombies are there, but I do think a rise in Zombie count should be a thing, especially in city areas.
