Which games do I need?

So I decided to try out this mod, and I already have ARMA: 2, but not Operation Arrow head. Do I have to buy Combined Operations, or can I just buy Arrowhead?

Arrowhead is enough. Atleast I would think so. The thing is you launch dayz through combined operations which loads both arma 2 files and arrowhead files. I bet there is someway to do this without buying CO.

Arrowhead, then download Arma2Free from steam or just install arma2 as you already have it.

So you only buy arrowhead.

The answer is: yes, the game requires both Arma 2 and OA. Whether you get it through combined operations (which just bundles the two) or as separate purchases does not matter.
