character data not saving

Hey

Me and my mates were playing for well over 2 hours earlier and now I have looged back in and im back where i started with the same gear I originally logged in with.

Also notice people in chat saying theyre characters gear and position hasnt saved.is this a known issue and is there a fix due?

Ok sorry.

I dont really know what more info I can give. I logged on earlier and had the same character from when I last logged off last night.

I played for a few hours and got some extra gear and moved to a different location on the map.

I have just logged back in now and still have the same character from last night.SO the stuff i had done earlier today and the new gear i got and new position hasnt been saved.

Also more people in chat are saying the same thing.

Even if i die i still respawn with last nights character.

Its as though the characters arent updating on the main DB.

Im sorry i dont really know how to describe the issue im trying best i can

This is not a bug. I'm having the same problems right now but earlier this patch saving was working fine. My guess is this is due to main servers getting flooded.

I got this problem aswell as 5 other guys im playing with every day.

After login,everything we do wont be saved at all (even if the debug info says otherwise).

I login,same position as i logged out yesterday.then i'll loot some supplys and change position,

logout after it says "unsaved:true (5secs and counting upwards)" and after i log back in im at the position i left the game yesterday.Same process on different servers,tested DE 1-4 & EU 10

I had an issue today that is likely related to this server syncing bug or whatever you wanna call it. I logged in for the first time in a day and a half, so naturally I was starving and dehydrated. I was also in the sea, not where I left myself at Sosnovka. I ate, I drank, then, without moving for fear of losing my precious M16 w/ 7 mags, my alice pack, my hunting knife, matches, etc, I logged out and attempted to log back in with the hope that it would randomly throw me into a spawn point on land. It didn't, I was back in the sea, only I was desperately starving and dehydrated again, but without the food and drink in my inventory that I'd used to remedy that situation previously. So it saved my inventory loss, but not my fixing my hunger/thirst.

As a result of this, I died within minutes and lost all my prized gear, and a 6+ hour streak.

This was all on RU1, I believe, and I was still using 1.5.6 (so was that server, allegedly).

Happened to me this morning, Was playing last night for few hours on SE1, after being randomly spawned on the coast instead of Berezino where I had logged off, I spent quite some time making my way back up North. My journey eventually led me to the NWAF. I crawled on my belly past an army of undead, and ended up in the control tower. I spotted another survivor crawling towards the tower, and decided, fuck it, time for my first murder.

Took him (and the thirty or so zombies that were alerted by shots) down with my AKM, and my skin changed to bandit uniform. Looted an AKs-74 Kobra and M4A1 off his still warm corpse. I climbed up control tower and waited about 5 mins, to make sure it would save, then logged out. When I log in this morning, I am back on the Bean Coast, 0 murders on debug screen, and no M4A1 of AKS (back to gear I had when I first logged in last night.) Really, I wish it would of just saved my position, I can live with out the guns, but I hate starting back on the coast when you have good gear. Your just one big target, especially with the large Coyote bag. I didn't have any problems like this with any previous version.
