The Devs? Is there anyone here?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I wanted to know if the Devs, Moderators, people who "work" on the "game" are still alive?
I bought the game as soon as it was released (40 €, it already started badly), and since then I have only managed to "play" 10 minutes.
Most of the time, it is impossible to join the servers, "Connection with host has been lost", "You have been kicked from the server", "Connection failed", etc.
And the 10 minutes that I could "play", they are inventory bugs, loot nonexistent, etc ...
Yet, before the game came out, they told us that people would monitor the servers 24/24 and 7/7. Euuuuh ... This week?

No communication from the Devs, about known problems, future fixes. We do not know anything except that we have been charged 40 € from our bank account.

Angry player

There has been a lot of communication from the Devs actually, on social media platforms, on their website, on these forums, a lot more than other games I have seen release with issues. Look around a little and you will find the answers you seek. Follow this link to the Devs latest blog post where they talk about the main issues and what we should expect from the game preview in these early days.

I read the blog, but what they will do in the coming months do not interest me at the moment. Current concerns are preventing large numbers of players from playing at the moment. What interests me is what they have to do now, not in 1 month.
I do a lot of Game Preview since its inception, because I like to participate in the development of a game, but it requires a minimum of communication and exchange. On this forum and Twitter, there is no immediate info.

They probably are at dinner with Bluehole,

"Those idiots paid FOURTY for our game preview!"

lol. I have been PU since its release, and since the launch, the Devs were very responsive on the forum, and the game was "playable".
The next day (for proof, go to the forum), they had created a forum dedicated to known problems, future fixes and when they were deployed.
For DayZ Xbox, there is only one page dedicated to the forum, no category dedicated to the official announcements, the feedbacks of the players, etc ... Everything is condensed on a single page, how do you want the Devs find themselves there.

I find that the organization of the release of the game is not up to a game that has existed for more than 5 years.

This is something i majorly agree on. Bluehole/pubg corp plus many other companies have console designated forums for us to use too. Here its just soley one subsection for ps and xbox with no subsections for eithrr console. We need report bug sections, LFG & the rest LOL

As for the game being unplayable, fortunately for me that isn't the case so i beg to differ on that. With better sections for console on the forums we can aim to improve the experience for all console players.

I just don't get the culture of pushing something out before it's finished. BACK IN MY DAY THEY FINISHED GAMES BEFORE THEY CHARGED YA MONEY FOR EM! You new fangled millennials and your absolute disregard for money's value/function.

This is a great PC title, are you guys proud of what you have shat out for us xbox users? You all got together in a room and spent 50 minutes connecting to a lobby, then spent 10 minutes playing before dropping out and said "Yeah, f**k yeah guys its READY."

You all should be ashamed of yourselves. How much is the season pass going to be?
