Zombie spawn limit

I just wanted to know if there is a spawn limit for Zombies nearby you, if not this would be a great idea.

Yesterday a friend and I were wondering through the planes as suddently we get attacked by a bunch of zombies, we decide to look for shelter in a barn nearby, it seemed abandoned and not much civilisation nearby so we thought we could kill those 5 Zombies and move on. But it was like magic that all of a sudden more and more zombies came, totally unproportional to the amout of zombies we had seen outside around the barn. In the end we killed like 40-50 zombies until we ran out of ammo and then we just cheesed it.

So I think it would be a good idea to have a spawn limit for Zombies nearby you, just to make it more realistic. In a city it would probably be accurate to have 40-50 zombies pouring in the door but not a barn in the middle of nowhere :s .

Oh yeah, and don't get me wrong, this game is great and this is no criticism but a suggestion for imrpovement.
