Dayz Level 2

Recommended Posts

My character is alive for ~ week already, I already have nice gear - almost everything I wanted, except NVGs

And now I am at pont were Dayz starting to get boring - only thing whats left is PvP - but there are lots of ppl who I know dont like that.

So I had idea - what about Dayz LEVEL 2 on some different map

* harder zeds - maybe with some pistols or shootguns

* possibility to find and repair armored cars

* possibility to find and repair jets or military helicopters

* place were surviving alone is almost not possible

but again - if you are dead - you are dead and back to chernoruss to start all over again

Cool idea, but heres the issue

Dying... since you re spawn with no weapons, normal zombie are crazy hard to deal with let alone players, maybe this could be like another new dayz game mode.

OR even better it could save your current items so you re-spawn with them

I could see this idea making some pretty impressive battles and fire fights

Maybe there could be team based strongholds with no friendly fire on your own team so you can work together to kill Super zeds

(just ideas, could be interesting to see how this idea progresses)

Bigger maps will come in future, areas of which will be (I imagine) far more difficult to explore either due to lack of food and water, or because players (of which there will be many more) and zombies pose a much greater threat there. Perhaps there will be a military installation and surrounding region with better weapons/vehicles, but vastly more zeds. This will effectively introduce what you're seeking, without the artificiality of a level 1 / level 2 system that would simply serve to break immersion in the game.

If the game is getting boring for you, go do something with all your good gear! This doesn't have to be outright PvP, you could equally go and find some new survivors and help get them on their feet; perhaps they'll join you for a while. This will involve great risk, but it sounds like that's exactly what you want with your 'level 2': more challenge, more risk, more excitement. Make it for yourself.

I ment when u die you can spawn only in chernoruss not in LEVEL2 map.

with one map ofc this could be more interesting but there 100% will be dudes who will want to drive tank to cherno or electro and shoot spawners

Exactly. Don't get attached to your gear: go bandit hunting, go help survivors, go ninja in Chernogorsk. This is a sandbox, you have to set your own goals. Being afraid of dying and losing your gear is ridiculous if you just spend your time in the woods: it's incredibly stimulating if you are in danger's way.

Maybe problem is that I like to play with my friends group of 3 ppl - soloing is more chalanging.

only chalanges are:

- getting 20 zeds horde on me on open field

- ignoring spawned zeds in city when you are 200m from there, sure its mean some one already there, but I can pretend myself dumbass and run in there and shootin everything

etc
