Wood Chopping Fire lighting

So i was playing on stable version .61 yesterday and we seems to have some issues with wood chopping and fire lighting. 

Wood Chopping

Firstly, Chopping wood would put one of pieces in my inventory and the others would be on the ground. This would be nice if they would stack in the players inventory.

Second, sometime no wood would be seen in the vicinity after chopping down a tree.

Third, The fallen tree never despawns.

Fourth,  The long stick that is also harvested when chopping logs replaces the axe in the inventory slot and we saw the axe disappear from the ground. "We lost 2x axes" This is a major pain. If you do still have your axe                 in your hands you can't drag it back up the top to equip it again you have to swap it out for the stick. One movement and you have lost it. 

Fire Places,

Firstly, When a fire place is put in a fire place in a house. The only way to add more sticks is to stack them.

Second, If you "add as attachment" a single log to the fire, You cannot add any more. The logs have to be stacked prior to adding as an attachment. 

Third, One the fire goes out and the ashes are still there or the ashes have despawned you can never place another fire place in the same position. You need to find another house.

Fourth, Lighting a fire outside in the rain is impossible. "In my experience"

Fith, In order to feed a fire that is placed on the ground you need to get very close to it to bring up the inventory. If you remain in that position after you leave the inventory you seem to die from being to close to the fire.             Perhaps a notification would be good stating that your getting burnt.
