dont_ask_me_again 1 Posted January 18, 2017 I had a brainwave here, a current problem arises where, once a base has it's ammo looted, it's basically all gone (undesirable) for 24 hours apart from one or two boxes if you're lucky enough. This problem isn't as big for weapons because you can generally only carry 2 weapons meaning the first looter can't grab all. Magazines aren't as big as a problem as ammo I think but they fair a little harder than their weapon sometimes. The solution I think is to make the majority of ammunition spawn on zombies; - maybe with a 10% chance that it spawns in a magazine. I realise zombies have a chance to spawn ammo as it is, but I was thinking... enough to suite a player if they do loot-run and wasn't as fast as other players and maybe counter-balance this with some less ammo spawning at bases. Police Zombies: Civilian ammo or mag with ammo (high chance) Army Zombies: Military ammo or mag with ammo (high chance) There could also be an increase level of how many of these zombies spawn aswell - whatever works best. Maybe there could be a similar looting system with doctors/fireman etc. (ie: morphines on nurses) That way once a zombie is killed... it respawns ammo for the next player.
