Bullshit issues I am having.

So I'm trying to play the game on steam and I already run into issues. The biggest one is that I can't see zombies or players but I can talk to them. I was talking to this one guy and made sure we were in the same area and I couldn't see him and he couldn't see me.

When I go in third person I can't see myself, I am invisible.

When I look down in first person I can't see my body unless I walk.

Oh and don't get me started with the crowbar.

I have a the same problem, its like i am a ghost... i can pick up items and shoot zombies but I do not aggro and I have no debug HUD....?

Try the INSTALLATION section of that thread. I think the most common problem is that you have to install a beta patch now, for ARMAII. Then you MUST make sure you are running the patched version.

On my system, when everything is running right, under the top right icon for ARMAII I have expansions listed for:

- arma 2

- dayz

- beta

- Expansion

Obviously I can't verify it, but if you are missing any of those, my guess is the game won't work right.

If you do not have a Debug window, and are invisible in 3d person? You are missing the arma 2 beta patch or it did not install properly.

Manually install it from here http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/, and follow the guide on the forum or use Sixupdater located here http://www.six-updater.net/ . The latter works like a charm, no more fiddling with dayz.

I did everything correctly for what the steam installation guide says.

Errors and bugs like these is why PC gaming is dying.

So does anyone know what's wrong? I can still play the game but these issues are at random.
