Invincible inside pine tree

Date/Time: Every server

What happened: When players are inside the pine tree( the only that looks like a Christmas tree, makes player invincible from zombie attacks and player shots. A guy was camping and shooting people( name was overpowered, you pussy who DCed) and i was like 5 feet away with my shot gun, don't know how he did not know, i shot at him but the tree blocked my shot... very good engine this is...

Either way, he survived and dced. Also ive noticed if you hide in them, you will be protected from zombie attacked too.

Where you were: 5 feet so the side of him

What you were doing: aiming my gun at him

*Current installed version: 1.7.1.5

*Server(s) you were on: Happens on all servers with this type of tree

*Your system specs: gtx 560 Ti, 8 gig ram, i5 2500k, happened on a stream i was watching so not pc related

*Timeline of events before/after error: happens all the time.

Is this always true? There are a lot of pinetrees used for hiding very frequently, so this would be more noticeable if so. Personally didn't have a problem with this.
