Can anyone tell me what causes the "Bad serial number given at setup" error when I launch Day Z through Six Launcher?

launch the game without six launcher first. if that doesn't fix it chances are your key got disabled.

I got this problem and i also found the fix. For me it was getting a new setup and swapping my HDD to the new one and trying to play (my registry files from old windows werent there). I reinstalled and its now fine.

The usual fix for this is to Launch Arma 2 once, and then Operation Arrowhead once. This removes any registry issues you are having.
