saving items.

Can I save my items (ie: tires) by moving them to an other location?

like I find product "X" and take it to location "Y". how long will it stay there or will it be deleted/despawned after a certain amount of time?

Tents are your friend. Use them to store stuff in.

and without tents, is there a despawn timer or anything?

because a lonely tire is less noticeable than a tent.

I can confirm that items stay on the ground where they were for quite some time, but if they aren't in a car or tent, a server restart will clear them.

If there is a despawn timer for dropped goods, it is probably quite lengthy (10+ minutes or so?).
