Where is offmap?

Which area exactly is considered offmap (for vehicles/tents) on the in-game map? Is it where the forest coloring ends outside of coods 0,0? I noticed a few of the interactive online maps seem to be missing a bit of the northern portion. So im a little confused about where it is safe to set up camp.

Lost 2 parked, saved, vehicles, which im sure were on-map, after a suspicious "kicked message" from the server. When i had logged back in a few mins later the time of day had drastically changed to night and i couldn't seem to find the vehicles anywhere.

This may be a server restarting issue, but i wanna make sure its not something I caused to happen myself as it seemed kinda strange and have noticed a bit of strange player/admin activity on the server lately.
