Low FPS On .60 EXP

Recommended Posts

Hello, i am having a issue, i am getting really low fps on Dayz exp (Around 40 in towns and and no more than 40 in the wilderness) and im not sure what i could be, i know my system specs are not the best but i was wondering if anyone could help me solve this or tell me what i could do to get a few more frames

My System Specs:

CPU: AMD FX-4100 Overclocked to 4.1GHz

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 - EVO

Graphics Card: Nvidia GTS 450 1GB ( i know this is rubbish but upgrading to 750ti in July)

RAM: 8GB GDDR3 At 1600Mhz

OS: Windows 10 64-bit

Windows + GPU updated to latest drivers + my GPU is DirectX 11

If anyone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it.

Louis

Try opening up your DayZ confg file (its in the DayZ folder in My Documents), and check the render W and H. Mine was set to 4K resolution for some strange reason, so I set it back to 1920x1080 and it fixed all of my fps problems.

For reference, my specs are:

CPU: Intel Core i7 2760QM @ 2.4 GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M (2 GB of graphics memory)

RAM: 16 GB DDR3

OS: Windows 7 64 Bit
