datbrummie 0 Posted May 6, 2016 (edited) Hello, I just fresh installed DayZ and updated to experimental ready to play 0.60 however I'm having an issue with the sound. When I open DayZ, I get a splash loading screen and everything is fine. Then right as the main menu opens, I hear a pop through my headset. After this point I can't hear any audio from any source on my PC, including Teamspeak or YouTube. Then if I tab out from DayZ, I hear my Teamspeak and YouTube again. If I tab back in, then sound is gone. Then once I close DayZ I hear another pop and suddenly my audio is back. Does anyone have any suggestions or also have this issue? Thanks. punchonico99 0 Posted May 8, 2016 I also have this problem, I've tried some solutions people came up with on other posts but unfortunately nothing worked. Although people have said that when you get into a server and start playing for about 20 minutes the sound magically comes back, but since I haven't been able to get inside of a server yet I don't know if it works.
