I have windows 7 and am trying to edit the dayz beta.bat file to take out the windowed flag so that the game doesn't open up in windowed mode but opens in full screen. When I try and save it, it says the file is locked. Settings the file to unlocked, doesn't seem to work. Is there any other tricks?

Make sure the game isn't running when you try and make the change.

Next step would be do a reboot and make the change first thing at startup.

Make sure you're on an admin account....

Other than that I made the same change and I can't imagine why its hassling you...

I'm surprised it let you add ";@dayz" but not delete the "-windowedmode" thing.
