This is just a simple request for info

I have owned DAYZ now for over a year, but I just stopped playing about 4 months ago. Why?  Hacks and cheaters. Im not anti social or anything, and I dont mind Legit kills...I may not like it but its acceptable. But my ingame experience is just the opposite. Being killed thru walls, being in enclosed room wilth doors closed and still a death occurs (no bleeds or anything). I can go on and on, but this isnt a anger thing. I just stopped playing because of the hacks and cheats, not the mention the admins of certain servers who actually encourage the use of cheats and they also take part in just killing you and random bans.

so heres my question.....is there a DAYZ mod where I can just play it by myself...no other HUMAN players. I dont own any ARMA games...Just DAYZ.

I have 2 Private servers. At the moment only one isn't pass - worded, but once 0.60 goes Stable, I will be switching it to the Master server and it will be pass worded and by invitation or for previous known players. The focus will be on survival and co-operative play, base building and relationship building with other players. Sure it will be low pop to begin with. But everyone in from the start will start equal - no hackers, no cheaters, no server hoppers and no way to bring loot in from another server.

At the moment both my servers are running 0.59 for the next few weeks until 0.60 goes across to the providers. If you want to play on one of my servers, drop me a PM with a few details, and if you are 18+ and seem like a decent guy, I'll see what I can do to fix you up with a place to play DayZ

1. Try DayZUnderground or The Civ. Both servers have a really great track record of keeping hackers and duplicators at bay. Really great experience.

2. Killing people through walls isn't necessarily a product of hacking or cheating. Objects do have penetration values, meaning different bullets pass through different materials depending on the materials type and thickness, and the bullets caliber and speed.

Shooting people through doors, through sheds, etc is a legit tactic that would work in the real world as well. There's certain buildings notorious for people getting in the walls but you can simply just avoid those.

Also, if you want to avoid some of the nonsense you were mentioning try private hives and hardcore (1PP) servers, those who would make trouble tend to avoid those.
