Arma II DayZ Server Help/Setup

I have a PowerEdge 1950 R2 with a 6GHz processor and 16GB RAM and I have been trying for months now to get a public DayZ Mod Vanilla Server up and running. I have tried DayZ Control Centre, and normal manual batch file installation methods and I have been getting poor results. I have been using the 5.6.29 Version of MySQL to try and help with database support but nothing really happens or changes, the tables are all correct and inputted into the database but when I load in through a LAN connection it loads me in until I get to the DayZ default server load up screen and it says "Waiting for server authentication" So I am looking for someone to help me and teach me and set up a DayZ Mod Vanilla Server up on my Server. Hope you can all help me out! Thanks!!
