Zombies not attacking me?

Recommended Posts

I installed DayZ yesterday and I seem to be experiencing a weird problem.

None of the zombies ever attack me, or even seem to notice my presence. I downloaded the latest version yesterday night, and don't have trouble joining servers, but yeah.

You are probably running the 94444 beta patch of Arma II.

Only a few servers are running it... You should filter for that in the server name, or go back to 94364... This is only a guess on my part, based on previous disparities from beta patch to beta patch.

You should DEFINITELY be running all of the files on the site here associated with DayZ 1.7.1.5.

How do I go back to 94364?

Thanks for the help by the way.

I am pretty sure that you can just go to the site:

http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/

You will see the 94364.zip file at the top of the left hand column. Just download that, and I would assume all will be well.

I've never read about how effective going backward on patches like this is, but it should be ok.

Thanks man. I'll try it and report back on the results.

Okay, that didn't work. I just realised I'm not only invisible to zombies but other players too, yet I can kill both. I'm unwillingly hacking here.

Anyone got any other ideas?

EDIT: OKAY FIXED IT. I was just being retarded, I was still running the original exe instead of the beta client.
