Throwing bottles

Alright, so if any of you hadn't noticed, you can throw those tin cans/whiskey bottles you find as trash on the floor. So, my question is, does it hurt players? It would be funny to kill a guy by throwing a whiskey bottle at the back of his head.

I've never even thought to try. I've literally never tried to use them at all to be honest. It would be nice to be able to use those as a weapon before you find something more effective.

It attracts Zombies.. Honestly, its one of the most important techniques to use in the early game!

It will distract Zombies if thrown far enough away from yourself.

The empty whiskey bottles work best.. and they go further.

It will, however, disorient players like a small flashbang if it hits them, potentially sending them into shock. I've experienced this first hand.

I've heard tales of people even knocking others unconscious with large throws from far away, but not sure if legit.

I heard Rocket telling a tale about a bunch of guys who broke another players legs using bottles and cans, and then ran up and hacked him to death with hatchets.

I've always heard that tin cans make you shock/deaf and bottles break legs.
