Trouble playing / Missing files

Alright so I am usually pretty good with this kind of stuff but I just can't get this mod to work. I've reinstalled multiple times now, trying different methods of installing the mod each time, but I just can't get it working. The full game works fine. I can play regular multiplayer games and I've played through a good chunk of the singleplayer, but this mod is just causing me problems.

When I try to join a DayZ game it says something about missing files and I just get kicked. Then when I try to join another game it brings up a big list of files and says the server doesn't support those or something like that.

Also if anyone would be willing to do one of those screen sharing things where you have control of my computer and get this going for me that would be great. I don't know why I'm having this much trouble and I would really like to play this mod.

Also I'm running the retail version of OA and an "acquired" version of regular Arma II. I'm running the latest beta patch and I've tried launching the game via Six Updater, Six Launcher, and pretty much all the other various ways.
