My server has been blacklisted without notice since friday13th.

I don't know why, and I would like to get a clear explanation about that since I am keen to follow the rules.

I wrote a ticket the day after and I still have no response.

So by now I can't get the readme and the startup script for Linux better.

Hello everyone :)

I have been trying to host a DayZ Server on Linux for some time now, and I can't really make it work.

Iam running a Debian Squeeze x64 machine with wine-1.3.15 and I can't get it to work.... Everything is set up properly, an x-environment, a vncserver (= graphical display). The Server starts up and I can join the Server, when I click "OK" and the mission starts, the Server says "Reading mission".... and when "Mission read" pops up, the Server crashes and an error message is displayed.

I installed directx9 via winetricks to fix initial errors, but this is the last problem I have in order to start the Server.

If possible, could you provide me with a tip on how to solve this problem, would be highly appreciated!

try this:

winetricks --no-isolate corefonts sound=disabled tahoma gecko vcrun2010

If you experience some problem, try to debug wine;

export WINEDEBUG=err+all,warn-all,fixme+all,trace-all

This will display wine problems (often it's missing DLL: directX VC++ hive connection...)
