Can't play stuck at waiting for character to create.

i did play before but now when i try to start a game i get stuck at "waiting for character to create" any suggestion how to fix?

Happens to me on some servers not all, just try a new server :)

There are some issues with DDOS attacks lately, it may be related. If you can't get into a server, play some normal Arma 2 to get into the game!

But don't update to the latest patch #94444 as it's b0rked
