Zombies are back?

Hey guys,

Honestly, I did not play too much with DayZ nowadays, and I`m wondering if the zombies are back finally?
I would start playing again, if there is any point doing so (meaning: if there are infected on the fields).

The Zombies are back, yes...but sometimes you will need to go through a few towns before they show themselves. Depending on when you last played the game with zombies spawning you will find them a lot harder to kill or escape from.

There is still a lot to improve on as far as their numbers and behavior but basically you will have enough fun with the current implementation.

Well I played a bit during the no zombie time, before that around the start of the alpha.
