What happened to Namalsk from the March Status report?

In the status report of March, there was a screenshot of Namalsk in Standalone. I wanted to know what happened to Namalsk because I really enjoyed playing it in the mod and would love to play it again in the standalone game.

They were simply showcasing what COULD be done with mods - like bringing an old favorite map back like namalsk... So to answer your question, the dayz devs never planned on implementing namalsk as a map themselves, but rather to show others it could be done and probably would be by modders.

Oh alright, thanks for the response! Hopefully we will be seeing some type of modding soon.
