Reacher (DayZ) 15 Posted December 1, 2015 Yep, as the topic say...is it useful? I know that there are some hazzle to make it stick to the gun (black spraypaint etc) but I wonder if it´s worth attaching it?I have the correct rail and the bipod in my backpack. Thanks for all the answers if I get any ;)
LoveAffair 329 Posted December 1, 2015 I use one and the gun sway is so so so much lowered. Just make sure it's deployed :)
KenoSkir88 181 Posted December 1, 2015 Yup. 1. Lay down and fire off 10 rounds. 2. Attach bipod, extend it and fire off same 10 rounds. With bipod attached / extended you should experience next to no recoil even on an AKM. Then slap a PSO-1 scope on it for maximum pimpness.

Lets see if I get this straight, it helps when deployed even if NOT proned? Yup. 1. Lay down and fire off 10 rounds. 2. Attach bipod, extend it and fire off same 10 rounds. Konfucious K 183 Posted December 2, 2015 That there is a very potent combination. Now just get yourself a ghillie wrap, some hunter clothes, a backpack and you are invisible and quite deadly. :) I love that bi-pod, even just for how it looks.
Reacher (DayZ) 15 Posted December 2, 2015 Just need to find me some black spraypaint so I can make it stick to the gun. After that I´ll probably die instantly and lose all the gear :D
Reacher (DayZ) 15 Posted December 3, 2015 Small update on the matter....got the bipod on and did a small field test.Standing or crouched, same scope sway deployed or not. Proned...funny enough....minor scope sway??? But no recoil.I am happy :)
atempleton 123 Posted December 5, 2015 The ATLAS bipod tremendously reduces recoil. For maximum effect, use it on an AKM and watch that thing hit true with those nasty 7.62x39mm rounds... Lots of carnage.
