aiming ?

Hey ,

i just played the first time and i never played armaII before so i really have a hard time figuering out the controls .. especially how to aim .

i started an i grabed my flashlight in the second hand without a gun in mainhand. no matter what i try i cant aim up and down ... yes i checked the control settings =) i am not that stupid .

Maybe some of u have got some good suggestions for settings for walking and aiming ?

How do you mean?

You can't aim up and down, like it is blocked? Only to sides?

Your mouse should control looking up and down, check your controls to make sure look up/down is bound to the mouse y-axis. Sometimes other devices can interefere, check it hasn't been bound to a joystick or gamepad etc.

To aim you can right click to sight in, or walk rather than run by using the shift key (double tap to fix) as you can't aim/shoot when running.
