No weapon entry ans start without weapon

Hey ,

i just bought the game and installed the mod with sixupdater like it says in the manual .

tried it several times but i also got the msg :"bin no entry in weaponcfg" or so. read a couple of posts here without any answer .

also i always start without a weapon . seems not right :D

So i hope someone can tell me what to do ! i really want to play this right.

Read and google. Also on this forums you can find newcomers guide - read some of it.

FYI you start only with one bandage, one box of painkillers, flashlight and flare? Well, that is correct, welcome to apocalypse.

well i googled and read lots of posts , cant figure it out , thats why i am posting here :P

well i just had a bandage painkiller and a flashligh .. no flare -.-

and som youtube clips said u would start with a pistol ?! thats why i thought...

well how am i supposed to find a gun surrounded by zombies :D

it also said in the newcomers guide , day an night depends on the time of the server and country ... i played on an server in my timezone and it was 11 am and it was still dark :D how can that be ? just curious :D

It's not 100% exact Komek.

By the way,you don't start with a pistol no more since new updates!:) backpack,bandage,flashlight and painkillers!:) That's all you have!

i found knife in game but before i could move battleye stuck the noise in booted me out

Just ignore the "bin no entry in weaponcfg"

it doesn't mean anything to you.

It is not the reason you don't see a weapon on your first load out.

The game changes constantly, through patches, and hotfixes.

Some may stay , some may be reverted. But through testing .

I thought it sucks that there is no weapon at first. But i found a hatchet, and been killing zombies that way.

For beginners , it does seem steep. But if you put yourself into the atmosphere of the game, it ramps it up more.

I'm not the best DayZ player , but it forces you to adapt.

I am new but I think it would not be nearly as much fun if you started with a weapon.
