Glitch?

So I just started DayZ and when I spawned there were no zombies. I also could not see myself in 3rd person. I wandered around for a long time searching houses and little towns but could not find one single zombie. Can anyone help me with this problem? It would be a big help. Thank you for taking the time to read this and maybe even help my with my problem! :)

Never mind. I downloaded Beta and it worked. sorry.

And not all servers have 3rd person view. Look at the server name, it should say 3p on or something like that.
