Broken bones (yes another topic about it)

We all know you have to fix broken bones with morphine, that aint so realistic, so I thought how about this:

you need to cut some wood and use that to fix your leg (crutches or fixate your leg), you would not be able to run for the next day or 2. Morphine would help but only let you crouch walk. So when you have a broken bone, first some morphine, then move to a tree (and hope you have a hatchet or find one) cut the tree and fix your leg. And in 1-2 days you would be able to run again.
