I remember, I once played the mod on my first days into the game. I always managed to find bandits and obviously I spent most of my time dying to them.

Then one day I met this guy driving an ATV down Elektrozavodsk and stopped to help me refuel my own ATV. His name was Chern0byl and he left after I was all set.

I spent several days going into different servers trying to find this guy. Took me some time, but I did...He lives un another country and we've been playing DayZ (both mod and game) since then like a team. That is the most gratificating thing I've found in this game.

Surviving the zombie apocalypse with a good friend, making an even better team is what keeps me playing DayZ.

I spent several days going into different servers trying to find this guy. Took me some time, but I did...

 

Hope they implement the radio transmitter that reach the whole map soon so we can have experiences like this again.

Atm it would be pretty taff to find anyone without a global chat.
