Now obviously dying because of logging out while restrained isn't a bug, it was put in specifically so one cant just log and server hop away from the situation.

 

So this would really only pertain to rp situations or even pub situations.

 

But say you are in a hostile situation you are being held up or just being trolled by some people on a pub server and all of a sudden the server goes down.

 

You think to yourself oh no i just lost everything...

 

Not necessarily, when the server goes down and you get the no message received text in red wait till the timer counts all the way up and let the server kick you.

 

If you do this you will not die, you will simply spawn in at the location you were restrained at but not restrained anymore.

 

 

I hope this helps somebody out there, i have tested this myself in our servers and it should work for you.

 

Im gonna slowly roll out a lot of the bug fixes we have found over in my neck of the woods so we can hopefully help more people outside of our community.

Hey thanks for sharing it could actually help a lot of players.

 

One suggestion for the title since i could not figure out what its about:  "Restrained? Server crashed? Trick to keep your character"

Or the like so people directly know what its about.
