Last time i picked up an svd it was near a wrecked v3s with loot all around. judging by the ruined ballistic vest, people died. No mags unfortunately and i never found any and was later killed. good times.

Pro-tip - just take the gun off the body, then grab it off the ground.

 

Yes! good tip, thanks. Sometimes (especially full pops) i find even dragging the gun off can be difficult though.
