Hi, the subject is basically what I need to know. I know thats its probably a noob question, but i would like to know for sure. If I buy two copies of Arma II Send one to my brothers steam account as a gift and keep the other for myself, can he and I both play Dayz under separate characters? Thus play together?

Yeah its seperate steam accounts. My brother IRL that is literally 15 feet away from me is playing DayZ and so am I

Err... you might not. I believe the game has some issues with multiple connections from the same IP. You might have to delve into your router and see if it can perform port forwarding and such.

It will work no problem. I play with my brother who's right next door every day almost. The only bad experience we have had is that our vent lags the hell out sometimes (only a DayZ problem) probably due to CPU usage.
