Had been playing for quiet some time on this supposedly public Swedish server when it ceased to exist a day or two ago. Does one have to host their own public server to ascertain that it won't go 'poof' all of the sudden? I'm thinking base-building wise.

Private servers are better in my opinion man, if you fancy it check mine out :)
