Loading problems

I have everything installed right and I have ARMA 2 CO for steam. I have tryed launching it from the in game and from the six updater launcher the same thing happens in both. I go to the character select screen where you choose your role as a survivor and then it goes through a few loading screens then it crashed to the server list and in the background I can see the character being created screen but it stops there. Please help!

also on steam i was told u need to right click your operation arrowhead, from the left side of the game library(my view is on detailed), and select launch arma2 combined operation(4th one down for me)

This got me further then ever but now it is stuck on a loading screen, but thanks for the help :)

I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!!! THE CENTRAL "HIVE"(multiplayer database) is being restored.
