Barrel stuck in my hands

My friend opened the lid  from the barrel in the same time when i was picking up the barrel and I cant trow an opened barrel.He tried to close it but is not working.

 

EDIT:I forgot to say that,but when I switch to the old ui I can get my stuff back from the barrel and the barrel is still stuck in my hands

I couldnt put anything into the barrel I found.  So i left it in front of the police station entrance lol.

You need to open the barrel and than put stuff in it,you cant carry the barrel if something is in it
